La Petite Folie consists of three houses on historic rue Haute and provides your choice of bed and breakfast or lovely apartment accomodations.
Ideally situated in the center of historic St. Catherine and just two minutes by foot from the old harbor, the houses are situated between the places of birth/museums of Alphonse Allais and Eric Satie at numbers 42, 44 and 94 rue Haute. The first two side by side and the third, arenovated house which opened in 2011 has new gorgeous apartments (in fact small houses each with private entrance) both overlooking a stunning, classified private garden with access.
The main house at 44 (B&B) dates to 1830 and is Directoire Style offering 5 beautiful bedrooms and one studio all with ensuite bathrooms. The b&b offers you the possibility to mingle with other guests and enjoy breakfast around a wonderful old wooden table. It has a curious kiosk (or Petite Folie) in the garden dating back to 1871. In the spirit of late 19th century Marocaine or oriental style, it was once used as a bathhouse for its prestigious owners. Our ‘petite folie’ has been completely renovated and you are welcome to visit.

42 - The house was built during the 14th century and is amongst the eldest in town with three exquisite apartments each of which comprise a floor of the house and are self-catering.
94 - Two new apartments Gernez & Priscilla offer you the possibility to stay in the atelier one of Normandy’s most important artists; Paul-Elie GERNEZ (1888-1948). This is where he completed the majority of his important works and the view of e classified garden from these two new accommodations is exquisite.
Parking
About 150 meters from the house, easy, free parking at the Naturospace public lot (500 car capacity). Alternatively on a first come first serve basis, we offer enclosed, locked, single secure parking at 94 rue Haute for an additional fee; inquire at time of booking.
Important prior to requesting please note :
-Principally dedicated for romantic getaways, children over the age of 10 are welcome in apartments Anis & Priscilla only. All other accommodations are reserved for adults.
-Arrivals from 4-7 pm in the apts; up to 10 pm ok in the main house upon request & with prior notice. (see rate page for full details).
-We are a smoke-free environment & pets are not permitted.
